VLT
S0 >61% Low Visibility - Lightly tinted, designed for overcast, foggy days, or night.
S1 42% - 60% Cloudy Conditions - Lightly tinted for dull overcast and foggy days.
S2 12% - 41% Partially Sunny - Medium tint option for a majority of weather conditions.
S3/4 0% - 11% Sunny Conditions - Dark tint, blocking out bright conditions.
Anti-Scratch Coating
Anti-scratch coatings are essential for maintaining the quality and functionality of lenses, whether for eyeglasses, sunglasses, or helmet shields. The coatings are made by applying a thin but durable layer of hard material that protects against wear and tear, extending the lifespan of the lenses and ensuring consistent visual performance.
REVO Coating
Lens Coating and Glare Reduction- REVO lenses are treated with a multi-layer coating designed to reduce glare and reflections.
Color Enhancement- These lenses often provide enhanced color contrast and clarity by filtering out certain wavelengths of light.
UV Protection- Typically, REVO lenses block 100% of UVA, UVB, and UVC rays, providing excellent protection against harmful radiation.
Durability and Scratch Resistance- The REVO coating adds an extra layer of durability, often improving scratch resistance and prolonging the life of the lenses.
Aesthetic- Often have a mirrored or reflective surface, which can be appealing for matching your motorcycle or helmet and functional reasons. This also adds a layer of privacy since the wearer's eyes are less visible.
Photochromic shields are engineered using advanced light-reactive lens technology that automatically adjusts tint based on UV exposure and changing riding conditions, helping deliver improved comfort, reduced glare, and enhanced visibility throughout the day.
Like all premium photochromic technologies, the shield’s transition performance naturally evolves over time with regular use, sunlight exposure, heat cycles, environmental conditions, and cleaning. As part of normal ownership over time, riders may notice gradual changes in darkening speed or overall tint response after extended use. This is a normal characteristic of photochromic lens systems and not considered a manufacturing defect.
Photochromic shields are designed for real-world riding performance. Normal riding conditions, road debris, dust, glove contact, and routine cleaning may lead to minor scratches or surface wear over time. This is considered standard wear associated with regular use and maintenance.
To maximize optical clarity and overall shield lifespan, clean ONLY with water using a soft microfiber cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, paper towels, abrasive materials, or aggressive cleaning methods, as these may reduce both surface clarity and photochromic effectiveness.
Due to the performance-based and consumable nature of photochromic technology, normal wear, surface scratching, gradual tint-response changes, and UV-related performance reduction are not covered under warranty.
