Hands down the best lid I've ever owned and I've worn Bell, Simpson, and Shoei. The fit, finish, and function are far superior to them all. Super light weight. To the point that it feels like a baseball hat. Interior is form fitting but super plush and comfortable. The clarity of the photo chromatic lense is unreal. Almost like fighter jet cockpit glass. Darkens almost instantly too. Wide field of view range through the shield as well. This lid feels like it should be $1000+ all day. Worth every cent. It's no wonder that its gotten the "Simpson Killer" name. Only bummed about the Gold shield not being in stock. It would look killer. I wasn't paid or given anything for free for this review. It's that good. Although I won't say no to that Gold shield haha. Props Daytona. You nailed it with this one.

I was looking for a quiet, light weight, good looking modular helmet and this one ticked every box. I did plenty of research before choosing this.
I daily ride a Harley road glide. Weekends I take out the cbr1000rr. Haven’t tried it on the sport bike yet but it is definitely a mile crusher helmet. Highway speeds you can feel the aero of the helmet working. Very little to zero head buffeting.
Interior of the helmet is top notch and feels comfortable in every direction. There’s no weird hard or pinch spots at least with my head shape.
Plenty of air flow. Coupled with the pinlock insert, 45 degree overcast and humid morning rides are cake now. Zero fog issues. There’s an extra airflow switch INSIDE the chin bar. It took me about 5 rides before I accidentally found it.
Inner drop down shade covers a lot of your face which I like. When coupled with a balaclava your face is completely protected.
My favorite part though… wind noise. This was killing me with my older AGV. My ears would be ringing at the end of every highway ride. This C6 is like crawling into bed and turning off the light.
I could keep going but overall it’s just a really really good helmet.
Only things I don’t like are the center pull for the visor. I prefer having a tab on the side. The lever for the drop down shield needs to be more prominent so it’s easier to locate with gloves on. I also wish it would retract into the helmet completely without having to really push on the lever for that last bit to get up out of your sight.

This is the best helmet package in the industry! I say it’s a package because the photochromatic faceshield is normally an expensive add on, but is included with the C6 Pro. It fits well, wind noise is at a minimum and it’s very lightweight. Additionally, the inner drop down visor doesn’t decrease the clarity of your vision and it drops down further than the competition. Daytona has wisely priced accessories and parts affordably given today’s economy. The only neg/neutral thing is that the chin curtain could have stronger or better designed attachment points. Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again in the future. Daytona has made me a long term customer.

I came from a ol junky Harley helmet so I don’t have a lot to compare it with but this thing is phenomenal. Nice snug fit, very little wind noise, super light, and is the best looking helmet on the market. I looked into a new helmet for a while, looking at and studying about several of the favorites of the masses but I am so glad I went with this one. Love this helmet! The fit is perfect, it’s comfortable, yet it fits snug where you want it to. Also, one thing I like, is the Daytona emblem is subtle on the front as well as the C6 on the chin bar. It’s there, but you hardly notice it in the carbon fiber. Other brands seem to put their logos on their helmets like an advertisement billboard. Everything is just subtle and cool with this helmet. Honestly, I can’t find a negative thing to say about this helmet. Very well done, Daytona. You secured my business in the future! I’ve transitioned to a modular helmet a few years back. For me, it’s so much more convenient on a big Harley bagger, especially on those long days!
I've been wearing a Simpson Mod Bandit Carbon for the last few years and I loved it. It’s really hard to beat the look of Simpson helmets.
While in Daytona for Bike Week, I had a chance to check out the Daytona C6 PRO Carbon - I was impressed, to say the least. ♥️
Comparing the two, the C6 is lighter in weight and definitely quieter going down the road. It was honestly the first thing I noticed after just a few minutes of riding. For me personally, it fits better as well and is more true to size. The included transition shield and pin lock just make the package that much better and now I don't have to carry two shields!
I will say, I do like the channel inside the Simpson helmet to route the microphone for my Cardio headset; the Daytona helmet doesn't have this.
Overall the new helmet made the 400 mile trip home, that much more enjoyable! If you’re in the market for a helmet, I’d definitely check this one out! I’m glad I made the switch.

This Helmet is, for lack of a better word, Dope! It's very Light, and one of the quietest Lids I own. That Carbon Fiber look is hard to beat! Not gonna lie, after my experience with Z1R Solaris 2.0 modular helmet, I was VERY hesitant on buying another modular helmet online without first trying it on, especially at the price.
Boy am I SO FU*KING glad I called and emailed the team at Daytona. Every question I had, silly or not, they answered it. Phones were answered within 1 ring too, which is a small detail, but I’m still very appreciative on.
My primary concern was sizing. My Z1R Solaris was a Medium, which is what I typically am for a full face helmet - intermediate oval shaped Medium head. I come from a Shoei and Icon helmet background - both helmet medium, both comfortable. The Z1R was a great!… for a less than an hour ride. I started developing pressure points on various parts of my head. It got even worse when I put my cardo Packtalk edge system on it - the speakers protruded just enough to place constant pressure on my ear ligaments. It was especially bad that way, due to the ear placement of the helmet did not align with where my ears actually were. Just an overall nightmare of a helmet with the cardo on.
The C6 PRO was everything the Z1R Solaris wish it was, and more. Talk about EASY lens replacement, incredibly light, COMFORTABLE, quiet, and most importantly - looks sick as fu*k.
I will say, when I first removed the helmet box from the shipping box, I was concerned about the way it was packed due to lack of foam. Then I realized, the folded up cardboard and the way the helmet bag was placed in there would’ve mitigated serious movement and potential drop-damage from carriers, so worries were erased.
Immediately after unboxing, I swapped out the lens to the gold one I bought. Two screws, pop up the lens and it’ll pop out the sides. Align the new one and pop the lens down and it’ll click in place, and pop the two screws and plate back in. Bueno!
Things to know: When you remove the top spoiler, make sure you remove the spacer(s) in order for the plate to sit flush with the helmet. See pictures attached - you'll know what I mean. Kyle with marketing called me within like 10 minutes of posting the review and he was like "bro, you gotta take out the spacers" THAT'S ON ME BRO MY BAD. Handled that issue expeditiously. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN TEAM!!!
Fit and finish is amazing. I love this helmet. As quiet as my Shoei X15 at 2/3 of the price, and I personally think it looks better than Simpson. Simpson elitists mad reading this I just know it.
This should be the prime example of modular helmets. Why spend $1000 for a Shoei neotec 3 and have no airflow when you can spend $600 for a cooler (quite literally) helmet with the same noise reduction and impressive safety certifications?
Daytona has obtained my business and will continue to gain my business. I’m already planning on getting my wife the pink C6 - we’re roughly the same size.
I removed the chin skirt off mine, since the boom mic on my Cardo edge would always get caught in that mf when I raise/lower the face shield. In fact, I typically remove the chin skirts on all my helmets. They just get in the way when I try to scratch my chin or something.

This is the best helmet I've ever owned. I searched for weeks looking for a carbon fiber helmet (preferably a modular) but couldn't find the right fit. I Road to every shop near my house and tried on every carbon helmet in stock. The best fit of them all was the Simpson Mod Bandit but the ear pockets seemed a bit too low for long ride comfort. I was extremely hesitant to order the C6 pro without trying it on but after speaking with Kyle, I decided to pull the trigger. The helmet showed up at my door last Tuesday and the fit and finish are absolutely perfect. True to size and the red photochromic shield is sick. I've been riding with this helmet for about a week now and I have to say this is the best helmet on the market, in my opinion. Definitely recommend it.

After 2 months of searching for helmets due to hating my sedici viaggio for 7 hour rides and my unwillingness to buy more shoei helmets, I came to understand that this is the helmet I need. It's a complete system for whatever you do. I still have an adv style visor but with the with aerodynamics of a sport bike helmet; and noise reduction that surpasses far more expensive helmets.
When I first saw this helmet, I hated the the look of the grill. With that said, the way it functions is amazing. The outer vent aims right up at your glass, and the inner vent is pure airflow. The inner one is a little awkward to get to with the chin skirt, but you'll let it, and you're most likely setting it and forgetting it depending on the weather.
My only complaint once I received it is that for the type of glasses I wear, the channels and pads aren't very accommodating; do I've cut the cheek pads. I wear Oakley crosshair 2.0, and Oakley gauge 8. The reason those glasses didn't fit well is because the arms bow and flare out. Anything that fits close to your head and goes straight back shouldn't have a problem.
Those are my only complaints.
The manufacturing is pretty perfect. You can tell it's hand crafted by people who know what they're doing. Every action you'd need to perform is easy even with winter gloves. The second you put it on and button is up, it's instant nose reduction. The locking studs for the chin bar are stout. The detents for the shield are deep, and it's staying in whatever position you put it in when you ride. Same goes for the chin bar when you lock it in the open position. The glass has a locking tab and you'll know when you've shut it completely.
At speeds of 90mph I noticed only a minimal difference in sound or ability to turn my head with the visor. It feels smooth at speed. I experienced zero buffeting with my head facing the wind, or turned to it.
All the people across various social media platforms saying it was the best helmet they own was what got me to call these guys to ask questions I needed answered; and their customer service sold me. You call, someone answers. If you have a question, it'll be answered. If you need something, they will do their best to help you. It's like calling your brothers who are always like, I've got you.

Upgraded my helmet from a full face carbon helmet to this modular carbon helmet surprisingly this is lighter and it’s very quiet also very easy to install any of your Bluetooth speakers etc. that’s great measured my head from the chart they provide please note if you’re taking the visor off their spacers that pop out when you replace the hardware for the shield I love this helmet definitely love the fact it comes with all the extras like auto darkening and the pin lock. I would pull the trigger and buy the helmet if you’re on the fence about it you won’t regret it.
