Cruiser vs Road -Paul

I was riding at a rally, and a lady jumped out into a crosswalk in front of me. I locked the brakes up on some paint and the bike just slid out from under me. Ended on my right side, and got some road rash. I felt the helmet absorb the impact so well, that with everything going on I still thought about how well the helmet worked as it was happening. Only picture I have is attached. If not for this helmet, I'm not standing here today.
