Love the fit and the smoked visor
I bought this for my husband and he really likes its. He especially likes the sun visor and has used it a lot. He said it fits well and is comfortable and so much cooler than a full helmet. He also appreciates the strap release which makes it easy to put on and take off.

The fit is perfect Head measured 55.9cm and order a medium since it was recommended to order a size down.

ALREADY SAVED ME FROM INJURY!
when I ordered this i was slightly wary of the sizing, so decided to go along with a "new & used" just in case. the helmet arrived in what looked like an unopened box and contained all that was expected, the helmet itself was unmarked and a perfect fit - I would recommend this product
It is a great helmet, however it is slightly larger than the normal Daytona skid lid. Could be due to the built in shield. Built in shield is GREAT. Fit perfectly without a helmet liner.
I wear this helmet every time I ride, it's light weight and breathes pretty well. It goes on and off easily with the ratcheting style quick release strap. Luckily, I haven't had to test its crash rating. My only complaint is the smell of the fabric. It's a very strong chemical smell from the fabric and transfers to my hair. Not the most pleasant of scents, but I'm sure it will wear off eventually.

Okay: going on an around-the-world "Ride Till I Die" bicycle tour starting in May. Looked at all the bike helmets I could until my eyes bled. Still couldn't find anything instilled me with any confidence. Then I found Daytona Helmets. Sure, they're for motorcycles. But, why not bikes? No reason, right? Quality is top notch. Lining and padding are perfect! I got the Medium (5'9") and it literally 'sucked' onto my head. Without the strap fastened, I looked 90 degrees straight down at the ground and it didn't budge! Yes, unlike many guys my age (65), I HAVE HAIR and lots of it! Not a problem. The strap is fantastic! It's a ratchet-type (very positive engagement NOT coming undone) with a quick pull release. Perfect. And...yes, there's an attached drop down visor, which I'm wearing as I type this out on my phone. There is NO distortion straight ahead or to the sides of my vision. BUY THIS HELMET! You'll feel safe and secure and your sunglasses fit UNDER the visor and don't interfere with its operation! And because it's a half-helmet, the sunglasses don't 'pinch' but slide right on as normal!5 for 5 on everything!Oh! You also get a cool "Daytona Helmets" emblazoned silk-like drawstring carry pouch and key chain fob! Incredible value!
I absolutely love this helmet! Very comfortable and the inner visor is amazing. The only thing I wish it had was a lock for when the visor is down. I have found a few times wind has gotten under it and lifted it on me. I'm still looking to buy a second soon for my passenger.
The helmet is very well made and it's very comfortable. The pull down visor is a cool bonus.It is DOT and you'll most definitely look like a toad Stool wearing it. (mushroom head)

The quick release is the first and best I've ever seen putting on and removing is the simplest I've ever seen, the slide down sun visor leaves plenty room for my subscription glasses without touching the bridge of my nose
This will take some time to break in, as it is quite snug. I like the freedom of a half helmet, but it does sit quite high on my head. It does include a cloth bag and a skull cap, though I don't have much hair to protect.

I like that the built in visor has space enough I can wear my regular glasses underneath. And its slick the visor is built in and "disappears" when not in use. I will definitely make this brand my first stop for any future helmet needs.
Fits and works well with retractable tinted shield built in. Strap has quick release buckle-easy adjust then on or off like a seat belt buckle.Overall pretty good for the money, a little bulbous or rounded. Not a skinny or illegal helmet, its D.O.T. approved. Should provide enough protection unless you prefer 3/4 or full coverage.
