Daytona Helmets
MAP Policy & Authorized Seller Compliance
Effective Date: 1991 - current date
Daytona Helmets maintains this MAP Policy and Authorized Seller Compliance Policy to protect brand value, prevent unfair sales diversion, support authorized sellers, and maintain consistency across wholesale, online wholesale, Shopify Collective, dropship, marketplace, and reseller channels.
Core MAP Rule
Maximum advertised discount: 10% off current Daytona MSRP / MAP
Unless Daytona Helmets provides written approval for a specific promotion, authorized sellers may not advertise, display, promote, apply, or present an online customer-facing offer that results in more than 10% off the current Daytona MSRP / MAP.
This includes product-page pricing, sale banners, cart-level discounts, checkout-level discounts, coupon codes, automatic discounts, stacked offers, rebates, bundles, platform promotions, and “hidden” discounts revealed later in the buying process.
Applies to Online Accounts
This policy applies to wholesale, online wholesale, Shopify Collective, dropship, marketplace, and authorized reseller accounts.
Hidden Discounts Count
Cart, checkout, automatic, coupon, and platform-applied discounts may be reviewed when they reduce the effective online customer price.
No Discount Stacking
Multiple promotions may not be stacked to exceed the permitted 10% discount threshold unless Daytona Helmets gives written approval.
Three-Strike Enforcement
Violations may result in warnings, account review, loss of promotional privileges, suspension, or removal from authorized selling programs.
Written Approval Only
Special promotions, closeouts, launch events, holiday sales, or exceptions must be approved in writing by Daytona Helmets.
Protects Sellers
The policy supports authorized sellers who invest in the product line, product education, service, support, and customer trust.

Daytona Helmets MAP & Authorized Seller Compliance Policy
1. Purpose and Overview
Daytona Helmets has adopted this MAP Policy and Authorized Seller Compliance Policy to protect Daytona Helmets’ brand reputation, customer confidence, product value, authorized seller network, and the long-term integrity of Daytona Helmets products in the marketplace.
Daytona Helmets invests heavily in product development, testing, customer support, photography, product education, marketing, warranty support, fulfillment, and dealer support. Unauthorized discounting, hidden checkout discounting, excessive promotional stacking, and below-policy online offers can damage the value of Daytona Helmets products and harm authorized sellers who follow the policy.
This policy is intended to govern advertising, promotion, online presentation, account conduct, and seller-program eligibility. It does not require any seller to sell any product at any specific resale price.
2. Covered Sellers and Sales Channels
This policy applies to all sellers, accounts, and commercial relationships authorized or supplied by Daytona Helmets, including:
- Wholesale accounts;
- Online wholesale accounts;
- Shopify Collective accounts;
- Dropship accounts;
- Marketplace sellers;
- Dealer accounts;
- Reseller accounts;
- Affiliate, partner, or platform-connected sales accounts;
- Any other account receiving Daytona Helmets products, pricing, product feeds, fulfillment access, or resale authorization.
Covered channels include websites, ecommerce stores, Shopify storefronts, Shopify Collective listings, marketplace listings, paid advertisements, email offers, SMS offers, social media posts, product feeds, shopping feeds, affiliate promotions, cart pages, checkout pages, coupons, automatic discounts, and any other customer-facing online sales or promotional channel.
3. MAP Standard — 10% Maximum Authorized Discount
Unless Daytona Helmets provides written approval for a specific promotion, the maximum authorized advertised or effective online promotional discount is ten percent (10%) off the current Daytona Helmets MSRP / MAP.
Sellers may advertise Daytona Helmets products at MSRP / MAP or at an approved discount not exceeding ten percent (10%) off the current MSRP / MAP. Any customer-facing price, advertised price, displayed discount, cart price, checkout price, coupon-applied price, automatic-discount price, bundled price, rebate-adjusted price, or effective online price that exceeds the authorized 10% discount may be treated as a policy violation.
Daytona Helmets may update MSRP, MAP, approved discount limits, promotional windows, product exclusions, closeout status, or seller eligibility at any time. Sellers are responsible for maintaining current product pricing and promotional compliance.
5. Product Example — C6 PRO at $699.95 MSRP
The following example is provided to clarify how the 10% MAP discount limit is applied.
C6 PRO MSRP / MAP: $699.95
Maximum authorized 10% discount: $70.00
Lowest authorized advertised or effective online promotional price: $629.96
A C6 PRO listed, advertised, promoted, displayed, cart-discounted, checkout-discounted, coupon-discounted, automatically discounted, or otherwise made available online at $559.95 would represent approximately a 20% discount from $699.95.
Unless Daytona Helmets provided written approval for that specific promotion, a $559.95 effective online customer price for a $699.95 C6 PRO would exceed the standard 10% MAP discount limit and may be treated as a policy violation.
6. Promotions Requiring Written Approval
Any promotion that may result in more than 10% off current Daytona Helmets MSRP / MAP requires written approval from Daytona Helmets before the promotion is advertised, displayed, activated, published, applied, or made available to customers.
Examples requiring written approval include:
- Holiday sales exceeding the standard discount limit;
- Launch promotions;
- Closeout promotions;
- Product-specific promotions;
- Bundle offers that reduce the effective product price;
- Gift-card, store-credit, rebate, or refund-style promotions;
- Marketplace platform promotions;
- Shopify Collective promotions;
- Affiliate promotions;
- Email, SMS, private-link, or login-only promotions;
- Any promotion that could reduce the effective customer price below the permitted MAP threshold.
Written approval must identify the product, promotion, discount, sales channel, account, and authorized promotional period. A general conversation, verbal statement, prior exception, or unrelated promotion does not create approval for a new promotion.
7. Warnings, Three-Strike Review, and Enforcement
Daytona Helmets may document suspected or confirmed violations and may use a warning, strike, or account-review process when evaluating seller compliance. Daytona Helmets may consider the severity, frequency, duration, correction speed, prior warning history, and overall impact of the violation.
Potential enforcement actions may include:
- Written warning;
- Strike documentation;
- Request for immediate correction;
- Temporary hold on account privileges;
- Loss of promotional privileges;
- Removal from Shopify Collective access;
- Suspension of wholesale pricing;
- Suspension of dropship access;
- Cancellation or hold of pending orders;
- Removal from authorized seller status;
- Termination of account access;
- Other actions permitted by account terms, platform rules, Daytona Helmets policies, or law.
Daytona Helmets may take immediate action for repeated violations, bad-faith conduct, hidden checkout discounting, refusal to correct, abuse of platform tools, or conduct that harms authorized sellers, customers, or the Daytona Helmets brand.
8. Monitoring, Evidence, and Compliance Records
Daytona Helmets may monitor public and account-connected sales channels to review MAP and seller-policy compliance. Monitoring may be performed manually, through internal staff, through service providers, through platform tools, through customer reports, or through marketplace and ecommerce review methods.
Compliance records may include:
- Screenshots;
- Product-page captures;
- Cart and checkout captures;
- Coupon tests;
- Automatic-discount tests;
- Order records;
- Product feed data;
- Advertising records;
- Email or SMS offers;
- Customer-facing promotion examples;
- Seller communications;
- Warning and strike history;
- Internal account notes and enforcement records.
These records may be used to evaluate compliance, protect authorized sellers, investigate abuse, document warnings, support account decisions, and enforce Daytona Helmets policies.
9. Unilateral Policy / No Resale Price Agreement
This MAP Policy is a unilateral policy adopted by Daytona Helmets. Daytona Helmets does not seek, request, require, or accept any agreement from any seller to sell Daytona Helmets products at any specific resale price.
Each seller remains responsible for independently determining its own resale prices. Daytona Helmets may, however, independently determine whether to continue supplying products, wholesale pricing, platform access, dropship access, Shopify Collective access, reseller privileges, promotional privileges, account access, or authorized seller status to accounts that do not comply with Daytona Helmets advertising, promotional, account, or reseller policies.
Daytona Helmets employees, representatives, and partners are not authorized to negotiate deviations from this policy except through written authorization issued by Daytona Helmets.
10. Reporting MAP Concerns
Authorized sellers, customers, and Daytona Helmets team members may report suspected MAP or seller-policy concerns to Daytona Helmets for review.
Reports should include, when available:
- Seller name;
- Website or marketplace link;
- Product name and SKU;
- Advertised price;
- Cart or checkout price;
- Coupon code or promotional method;
- Screenshots showing product page, cart, checkout, and final effective price;
- Date and time observed;
- Any related email, SMS, ad, or social media promotion.
Daytona Helmets will review reports at its discretion and may determine the appropriate response based on available information, account status, prior history, and policy terms.
11. Relationship to Privacy Policy, Wholesale Terms, and Platform Rules
Compliance-related information may also be handled as described in the Daytona Helmets Privacy Policy, including information related to wholesale accounts, dealer accounts, Shopify Collective accounts, dropship accounts, reseller relationships, transactions, promotions, account activity, compliance records, and enforcement decisions.
This policy works together with Daytona Helmets’ wholesale terms, dealer terms, dropship terms, account terms, platform terms, Shopify Collective requirements, reseller requirements, and any written promotional approvals issued by Daytona Helmets.
In the event of a conflict between a general account communication and a specific written MAP or promotional approval issued by Daytona Helmets, the specific written approval controls only for the product, account, channel, discount, and time period expressly stated in that approval.
12. Policy Updates
Daytona Helmets may update, revise, replace, suspend, or withdraw this policy at any time. Unless otherwise stated in writing, the current version posted or provided by Daytona Helmets controls future account review and compliance decisions.
Sellers are responsible for reviewing policy updates and ensuring that their listings, promotions, product feeds, coupons, automatic discounts, cart discounts, checkout discounts, bundles, marketplace listings, and platform-connected offers remain compliant.
