Tried to other companies the sizes were not correct do I wear went to this company and it is exactly the right size that I wear wish I wouldâve ordered here first quality is very well
This product is a very comfortable helmet and besides that it looks badass! I personally ride SEâs and donât like wearing what others wear which is Pro Tec or Triple Eights so I wanted a different look. I added stickers as well and looks amazing! 10/10 recommend
Most of these style helmets are bulky and uncomfortable. Initially when I got it I thought the same about the comfort. After properly adjusting the straps I am now very pleased with the comfort. I am now a convert to Daytona helmets!

Best helmet I've ever owned I have a big head and at first it was tight but needed to be broke in one day of riding and it's perfect it has a lot of padding and is super comfortable the clip for the strap is awesome too it doesn't catch my head like others

Although I was under the top measurement of this 2x helmet I was going to go to 3x butt stayed with the 2x due to your instructions to stay with the smaller size. The helmet is tighter than I expected .
I ordered an extra large because that’s the size of my Bell helmet, but this one feels Quite a bit tighter. I spoke to the sales department and was told to work with it for a while, so I took a baseball and firmly tapped the inside of the helmet and it helped a lot. It feels much more comfortable and should get better as I ride more often.

I have two of these and love them both. Perfect fit and reduced buffeting (due to the perfect fit). If you folks could have the exact same version with vents in it, I would buy it in a second. Head sweats like crazy on a summer day. That being said its still my best helmet ever.

Very nice helmet for the price. Small but DOT approved. I had to get one size up from what I normally wear.
I wanted something slim but comfortable along with light. You can't go wrong with this helmet. I bought this helmet at the beginning of the week. My first 1/2 helmet after a lot of research. Wore it on my first long ride down to Arlington National Cemetery for a wreath ceremony I was part of at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider. It felt like I had nothing on my head. That's how light and comfortable it was right out of the box. On that trip I wore the helmet for a total of 330 mile that day with no issues. Normally I do not write reviews but had to on this one. Great helmet!!!! I plan on buying a second one for a back up. Thanks for making a great product Daytona Helmets
You can not go wrong with this helmet. I have owned and bought ONLY Daytona Helmets since I got my first one in 2006. The fit and finish is always top shelf. I love that its not bulky, and sits very well on your head. You can not go wrong with a Daytona Helmet!
I just bought a 1/2 skull helmet and it's the most comfortable helmet I've ever had. So lightweight it feels lie it's not there. No more mushroom head. Went with the style without the bill for no drag and my riding buddies are asking where to get one,
I have a very tiny head and recently purchased the xxs, fits well and I don't look like Rick Moranes from Spaceballs. Performed very well at higher speeds with minimal lift. Only con for me is the chin strap is as small as it will go and is just barely properly tightened. Not a daytona issue imo probably more tiny head issue. Thanks for a great product.
To whom it may concern To whom it may concern, I felt it is necessary to share this bit of information. On October 2.2020, I was in a motorcycle accident and suffer a broken clavicle. I was traveling 45 mph when I went down. I am writing to say thank you, your product saved my head from any injuries. You product upheld and performed in a manner. I believe exceeds any DOT standards. I never lost consciousness I remember every thing. The helmet I was wearing was a Daytona skull cap. As the 2002 Road King left my control and started to drop I pushed myself away from the bike hoping to avoid the bike being on top of me. I was able get a good push but the bike grab and flipped in doing so tossed me into a flip where my head bounced off the asphalt. I will attach images so they can be viewed. This email is a necessary so your , manufactures and designers and staff can take a minute to be proud of being part of an organization that is doing the right things. Providing quality means more than we think about. Me personally I understand that more than many know I work in the civil aerospace organization with Rolls-Royce, as a quality inspector. So it is critical that I say, not just thank you, but also this! Daytona Helmets are exceeding the standard and are delivering customer excellence!! This should be a email shared within your company so everyone knows. Due to the care of product integrity and Quality of product. Everyone at Daytona had a part in saving my life. This is something I can never thank you enough, I hope my words in this email find everyone eyes and into their hearts. Some people may say think it is just another day at the job, but when your has a part in saving lives. Than you all should be proud to know that your product is amazing in design, heck I did not even have a headache, yes the broken clavicle hurt but not enough to make give up riding. Yes my next helmet will be a Daytona. The bike I was riding is my sons that I had just purchased, no worries it was not damaged bad and is almost road ready again. I ride 2003 Classic 100yr anniversary full dresser. So in providing this information, I am curious what your employees would say should be my next helmet, I have never been a full face helmet person probably never will. "My D.O.T skull cap . . . ." Hi Daytona Helmets, My D.O.T. "Skullcap" (D1-BNS) just arrived. I cannot tell you how surprised I am at the quality, fit and comfort. I have owned much more expensive helmets that were nowhere near my D1-BNS; from the appearance of the shell, the finish of the interior to the quality of the chin strap system! The addition of the helmet bag and "dew rag" were "above and beyond". The most shocking aspect of my purchase? THE PRICE! How do you manage a profit??!?!?! Count me: A VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!
Helmet purchase I ordered the D1-BNS DOT Daytona skull cap w/o visor in dull black on a Monday & received in MI on Thursday. Thanks so much for getting it shipped out so quickly. I have a bike trip planned & I was concerned I wouldn't get it on time...I should never have worried! I really didn't like my old helmet so I did some research and found Daytona Helmets. Freakin Awesome Helmet I ordered a half helmet I was hesitant about it. but to my surprise when i got it actually fit and looked good. if I have to wear a helmet this is the one to wear. very low and not bulky NO Mushroom. thank you Sheryl. you guys are un matched.
Saved My Life I ride a Yamaha Zuma 50 Scooter. Recently I replace my Non DOT helmet with a Daytona dot skull cap without visor. Saturday night A car pulled out and hit me it was their fault. I was knocked unconscious. The paramedics that responded told me I would have died if I was not wearing this helmet. Getting this helmet was the best investment I have ever made. The helmet was lightweight and very comfortable.
Saved My Neck I had neck and back surgery in 1998 everything went very well, however, I now have neck problems. After having physical therapy for a week I felt like a new man. I then rode my bike all day returned home and I was back to square one with much pain. My doctor said it might be my helmet. I looked to you guy's in search of a very light helmet. I ordered the half Skull Cap Helmet and it's been pain free riding everyday. I love my helmet and thanks for the great customer service. Oh yea I also bought the ear warmers they fit and work very good.
It was money well spent! Ive had your DOT Skull Cap for about a month. It was money well spent! Im 72 and over the years Ive had lots of helmets some costing 6 time the price of this Daytona helmet. Its COMFORTABLE-light-well made and looks great. I live in CT a non helmet required state. So for me to wear a helmet in the Summer is saying something. This is the 1st message Ive ever sent to a manufacturer about anything but wanted to tell you how impressed Im w/ your product Keep up the good designs and quality.. Best Ken
