The older I get (78 yrs) the less I can tolerate heavy helmets on my neck. I tried modular helmets from Bell, LS2 (had 2 previously), Sedici and HJC... none fit without considerable pain on my forehead (yes, I tried the "in-home" break-in methods). I then decided that all I really needed was an old-school 3/4 helmet. Never heard of Daytona helmets but so glad I gave them a try. I have a 59-60cm (23 1/4-23 1/2") head circumference and although the chart showed I needed a 2XL, I was able to find a local dealer with the Cruiser Graphic Matte Black w/Orange Stripe helmet and found size L to fit just right. Out of the box, on my head for 30 min and voilà, perfect fit. Thank you Daytona for a great helmet.

Daytona Cruiser Orange Pinstripe I received my new helmet awhile back and finally had a chance to go for a ride yesterday (it's cold here in Montana). I wanted to tell you how much I like it. I love this helmet! Sizing per the chart was correct, and the fit is perfect. The low profile is EXACTLY what I was looking for. There was some concern about my communications gear fitting. Not a problem at all. I have a Cardo PackTalk system with large JBL speakers and they fit in the helmet perfectly. You have to use 3M mounting tape vs. the standard clip, but that is a minor thing.Great value, great look and fit. 5 stars!
