Glide vs Road
"To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Noah H. I am a professional biker (retired FF), 55 years old. I was involved in a single-motorcycle accident on July 31, 2026, at night (around 9:30 p.m.) while we were on our way to an out-of-state event and getting an early start on the weekend ride.
A person in the lane to our right decided to pull over as if to keep us from passing, then slammed on their brakes. I lost tire contact with the road while trying to lean as hard as I could to avoid hitting or taking out my brothers in front of me. We were only doing about 45 mph on a section of eight lanes.
Either way, I went down wearing my favorite helmet, the Daytona Glide, and it worked exactly as a full-face helmet should. The modular stayed locked and secured throughout the entire incident and still works. It's a little scraped up, but it saved my face and didn't cause me to have a sore neck. The helmet is designed to be tough and to save heads and lives.
I will keep it as a reminder unless y'all would like to play with it.
I'm including photos of my favorite helmet and the only modular helmet I trust my life with—the Daytona Glide. The picture of my ugly mug is to show that I was unscathed on the noggin, except where my prescription glasses rode up into the helmet.
I hope these photos may help.
Thank you,
Noah H."
