My husband got this for a cross country ride on his new Harley and some states are helmet required states. We live in Minnesota which is not required by law. But now i will wear it. Great fit. Comfy and its not heavy or bulky but when you wear it you feel like your noggin is protected. Iâd recommend getting this if your looking for a helmet that doesnt weigh your head down and look bulky and is stylish too. This is good one because of the lightness of it most of all. Easy to wear and not ugly on the head.

Second purchase from Daytona Helmets. They are the best. Great quality products, service, and shipping packaging (They double box) Their customer service is excellent. They actually answer the phone unlike other companies I have purchased helmets from. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and do not purchase a helmet from WCL Helmets in Canada and Carbonfiberever in China. If you need to return one you will lose most of your money paid for shipping and customs. WCL never answers the phone or replies to emails either. RC

Although we received seriousinjuries in the accident, your helmet kept us from sustaining nothing more thanconcussions. Ordered the Daytona Carbon Fiber Slim Line Half Helmet to replace my 9 year old Daytona Half Helmet of the old design. Right out of the box it was evident Daytona had made some serious improvements to the Function and Style of the Slim Line model.The new adjustable / quick release chin strap latch alone is a justifiable reason to replace your existing helmet. Using just one hand while in motion on the bike you can tighten or loosen the tension on the chin strap. A light tug on the release tab and the latch falls away effortlessly.My old Daytona Helmet always felt like it sat on top of my head. The Slim Line design sits much lower and seems to hug my head on the sides all the way around. For some reason wearing a head wrap under my old Daytona Helmet was always uncomfortable. With the Slim Line it's no problem at all.The interior liner on the Slim Line helmet has been upgraded. The chin strap material is improved (softer) and where the straps are now attached to the helmet eliminates any tendency for the helmet to want to roll back on your head.The shape and contour of the Slim Line is a big visual improvement. Viewed side by side on a table, my new Slim Line appears to be ever so slightly larger. However, put it on your head and the visual illusion is that it's much smaller. The new contoured shape and lower profile combine to produce the smaller visual.My old helmet is a Large so I ordered Large in the new Slim Line despite my head measuring 23-1/4 inches placing it in the very bottom end of an Extra Large according to the sizing chart. I had read other reviews saying a snug helmet would break-in and mine has done the same after 5-10 hours of wear.Is the Carbon Fiber worth the premium price when compared to the standard Daytona helmets? Quite frankly if you hold both helmets in your hand you cannot honestly tell a difference in the weight. Both helmets are very light. What you are paying for is the Carbon Fiber Look and added Strength of Carbon Fiber. If that's not important to you, my advice is save your money and go with the standard helmet.You can't go wrong with the Daytona Slim Line. This helmet has exceeded all my expectations.
Carbon Fiber Awesomeness I purchased the carbon fiber skull cap recieved it in a timley manner and am very pleased when I hit 60-70 mph it dosent start to lift off my head and I still get the mushroom look a little but being a Marine I have to were DOT approved and this is the best bet.

Great looking Helmet. Very lightweight and the fit is perfect. Very happy with my purchase.
I have both. The fit is perfect for my head. THis is the only helmet I have owned that greatly reduced blurry vision with a windshield. Because it fits my head perfectly tight everywhere. My only suggestion... grove the foam inside and drop a couple black vents front and back. then it wont sweat so much on a warm day. If I can figure out how to do this myself I will. great helmet and great quick release. I just add a cut off black tie wrap to the release to make it easier to find with gloves on.
